Can you believe it that September is already over?

For this month, I decided to add up to my 40 Things Before 40 bucket list, I wrote down September 9 Traits. Since I am an organization freak, having short term goals spice things up and keeps me looking for more.

As today it is the last day of the month, let’s review how things went.

September 9 traits Recap

Let me break down how my list:

1. Lots of running

I did run, but not as much as I was expecting. Classes (see number 5) and work were a little bit more overwhelming that I was hoping. Still, I did my weekly miles.

2. Lifting heavier and heavier

Nothing stopping me with this one! I am so glad that my gym is now open 24 hours during the week. It is not easy for a non-morning person like me, but I still prefer to out of bed earlier and make sure I do my workout, than missing it because of overtime in the office.

3. Eating enough to build muscle

Sometimes the extra grams and the lack of definition (I mean, contest prep wise) bothers me, but I building the physique of my dreams. I must feed my body properly and it is working wonders.

4. Going for a walk in nature

I was hoping for weekly walks somewhere new which unfortunately did not happen. However, I kept in contact with nature by doing walks around the local parks. And now that fall is coming, it is getting even more pleasant!

5. Starting the Physical Trainer course

Amazing! It is not easy, but I am really glad that I took this step. Each class I learn something new that I am able to implement right away. I am also so glad for my classmates. It is awesome to see people from such different backgrounds sharing this passion for fitness.

6. Attending a Reiki level 1 course

What an experience! I have a lot to learn, but the seed has been planted.

7. At least one bike ride

This one was a no-show. 🙁

8. Working on self-love

Self-love is not only about giving yourself some treats. At least, I do not see it this way. Working on peace of mind and vibrating love to others plays an important role to accepting oneself. I am glad with the “progress” I am doing.

9. 3D social

Can you believe it that I did get out of my cocoon? And I loved it!! You will be hearing (and reading) a lot more of my ‘adventures’ coming soon. For now, if you have not read it yet, check my blog on the Coffee Reading I attended on September 21st.

And for you, how did September go? Did you have a bucket list? If yes, were you able to catch with everything you planned?
