How To Be A Blogger Everybody Loves

As bloggers, don’t we all want to have our efforts paid back through lots of interaction on our site and social media? But how to be a blogger everybody loves? What do we need to do to get ourselves noticed?
In life, we all know people who were born with that extra charisma that it is impossible to ignore. At school, they are class representatives. In college, they win prizes for their social skills. At work, their presence is a guarantee of success. They shine in the dark and are great motivators.
The same happens on the internet. Some writers can touch us with their articles no matter the theme. It goes from recipes to workouts. They can inspire us to get things done only through their words (and sometimes images, videos and other tools).
Even if you are not a natural-born talent, you can also become a star online with these 5 tips:
Start using these 5 tips to become a blogger everybody loves for #success. #blog Click To Tweet1. Write About Your Passion
Probably you have read it a thousand of times. And the reason for that is: it is the truth. Passion leads to great content, and great content raises everybody’s interest.
Blogging just to get something out there and hoping that it will bring some traffic back is a waste of time. Sooner or later your readers will notice that you are only trying to keep them busy. After a while, they will get bored and go “somewhere else”.
If you want to catch and keep the attention of your readers, produce content worth their time.
Note that writing about your passion is not the same as writing personal articles.
Even when you are composing a technical text, there is always room for spontaneity. It’s all a matter on how you bring your message forth.
For example, have you ever had a teacher from a subject that you did not like, yet you loved their classes? Why was that? Chances are they were not only knowledgeable but also liked teaching and worked with passion. So the next time you sit in front of your computer to compose your next hit, do it with love.

2. Be Social
On another Social Media Sunday blog, I wrote about The Art of Being Social in the Media. Why is it important? Shouldn’t your amazing content be enough? The answer is no.
Have you noticed how many great bloggers are creating articles every day on the blogosphere? I would not even dare to number them. Unless you come out of your comfort zone, it will be quite hard for people to discover you. You will have to interact, leave your ego behind and give back if you want to be successful. Check my article for more.
Interact, leave your ego behind and give back if you wish to be a successful #blogger. #blog Click To Tweet3. Sincerely Care
I recently read an influential blog on comments. Kathleen shares her insights on the value of blog commenting.
Maybe you followed my advice and started to go social. You hopped from one blog to another like crazy leaving comments like “great writing”, “stellar blog”, “hi, come over to my site” etc. The thing is that such comments do not generate the desired effect. Instead of inspiring people to return the visit and get to know you better, it will scare them off.
It is true that many of us have a full-time job, kids to look after and who knows what else to do. Because of that, there is only that little time free to be social after producing content.
The thing is that the same way you are short on time, so is the author who got that copied and pasted comment. What will they do? They will invest it in those who left them relevant feedback.
Thus, if you are running out of time, use it well. It is better to visit just a handful blogs, read their content attentively and comment something meaningful than to be all over the place spamming.
4. Give Credit
Your blog and your brand are YOU!
Even when you find review campaigns on various sites for the same product, using the same images, they are never the same. Authors always put their personality in their work that makes each piece unique.
You might find inspiration for a recipe, DIY craft or workout on someone else’s page. That is normal and happens all the time, including with pros. One thing you will notice is that they give credit.
If your favorite recipe was inspired by another blogger, make sure you mention it on your article and include a link. Maybe you sewed something inspired on a certain project. Let others know it! Since your version will never be the same as the original, there is no reason not to mention the source.
I am pretty sure that the author will enjoy seeing your work. So next time to pick up someone’s brain, tell people about it!
Do not be afraid to add 80% of sharing and 20% of your own material. #socialmedia #blog Click To Tweet5. Share! Share!! Share!!!
We say that sharing is caring because it is so. We all love comments on our articles. But it is not that simple to write something constructive all the time. What can you do instead? Share it!
Most bloggers use hover pin buttons on their images, use them. “Click to Tweet” is almost everywhere, so click it through. There is still Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr just to mention a few platforms that you can use to spread the word. I share all my favorite articles in various platforms. Also, the ones I leave a comment.
Sharing is a win-win situation. You promote others, and you also generate more activity on social media outside your content. Do not be afraid to add 80% of sharing and 20% of your own material. Authors will love and so will your readers.
Some additional advice
Prioritize
Do not stress out with posting a new blog every single day. Believe me: you do not have to. Use your time wisely. Dedicate one day to brainstorming; a day for content; a day for social media and a day to give it back. You get everything done without giving up your life.
Return The Favor
It is not that you HAVE TO like or comment back. You do whatever you feel comfortable with. But if you need to give back if you want to strengthen your brand. It is not mandatory, but it is a nice thing to do. People will appreciate you for your time.
Practice Makes Perfect
As I mentioned above, not everyone was born a socialite. Like any other skills, you will have to practice to improve. Pay attention to what others are doing. Do some benchmark and repeat successful patterns. It is an always changing world. Keep on learning.
