Wow! What a great week this one was. Since I was home for 5 days (Vacation!!! Whoohoo!), I had time to organize things around the house, read and write blogs almost daily. I had a great time!
Today, I want to take the opportunity to give some shout outs this week:
The first one goes to Lea from Running with Ollie.

I have been working really hard making the Debbie In Shape experience better for all my readers. It is really work beyond my full-time corporate job and training.
Being in contact with some so knowledgable and open heart like Lea makes things so much easier.
Her blog is full of training and social media tips. It is great reading with awesome articles and all the information you need.
Thank you for everything, Lea!!!
- McDavid Compression socks
Have you ever tried running compression socks? If not, do it!
Even though I used the treadmill yesterday instead of the road, I did not postpone my test-drive of McDavid‘s running socks. It felt great!

Probably because I am a beginner, my legs normally feel really heavy after 45 minutes running. Yesterday, I was fine, still doing sprints past this time.
I had to do groceries afterwards, so I kept them on. No swollen feet or legs. I highly recommend them!
- iTunes Gift Card giveaway
I see a lot of great giveaways on the internet. Unfortunately, because I live in Europe, most of them do not apply.
However, I found one that everyone can participate in and I would love to share it with you.

Anna Lavonne put together a blog entry called “Fit at Any Age” and I am one of the featured bloggers.

The idea is sharing experiences and tips to inspire others to get started as well.
Please stop by her blog and check all the entries (writers in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s): http://glamlegacyfit.blogspot.be/
I hope we wil inspire you get started or take your training to the next level!
I tried some of the poses yesterday (the ones I remembered) and I loved it.
Stretching after any physical activity is imperative. If you are not sure of what and how to do it, it gives you great ideas. Note that the vid is in Portuguese, but you can easily follow the poses.
One of the awesome things I participated last week was a linkup and I am hooked. So I decided to start one my own as from next week. It is going to be a “Tip Tuesday” and everyone is invited to participate.
