What day is today? It is my birthday!!! Woohoo!!! (pops the confetti) I never thought I would say that in my life, but I am excited to share this day every one for once.
I have so many reasons to be excited! The fact that I made it is already amazing. It is not like I have a wild life. Quite the opposite. I am probably one of the most boring persons you have ever met. Anyways, here I am and I want to share with you my 40 reasons to feel fabulous at 40:
1. Life without drama
2. Regular exercising
3. Reiki for inner peace
4. Loving what I own
5. Not worrying about the opinion of others
6. Challenging myself
8. Being proud of the choices I made
12. Not trying to be perfect
13. Fighting the Good Fight
14. Looking younger than my age (Woohoo!!!)
16. Enjoying days without plans
17. Appreciating things most take for granted
19. Following my instincts
20. Allowing my opinion to change as I grow
21. Realizing that mistakes make me human
22. Having no regrets
23. Practicing gratitude
24. Enjoying my companion as much as I love being with others
25. Walking away from things and people that don’t do me good
26. Accepting sincere praise
29. Living to my potential
30. Releasing myself from guilty feelings
31. Not trying to fit in
33. Rediscovering my beliefs
34. Understanding that I will never please everyone
37. Not explaining myself
38. Being a cat lady
39. Knowing I did my best
Last year, I shared a 40 things before 40 list. An update will come soon, but I will already say that I did not make that much progress. I do not know how old you are, maybe you cannot write your own 40 reasons to feel fabulous at 40 yet. Or maybe you are writing more chapters. But take the time to look around.
Think of at least 5 things you are thankful for or happy about. Write them down. Place them somewhere you can easily reach. Whenever you feel lost or in doubt, go back to your list. It is your ticket back to Balance. Let it be your inspiration, your source of motivation and strength.
