My 2015 Commitments: February Check-in

Is it only me or January 2015 passed by and I did not even noticed?!? Yes, it is true that I have been keeping myself busy with (a lot of) work, studying and Crossfit, but still… It feels quite strange.
Anyways, it is the first day of the second month of the year and I am keeping my appointment of reviewing my progress about my Commitments for 2015.
Hello February!
Invest in my health
I am getting close to get my surgery planned. I cannot deny the mixed feelings that I have about it, but I believe it is the best solution and I have faith in its results.
In the meantime, I have been doing Crossfit which is helping me improve my overall posture and has been an incredible experience to say the least. If you are one of those who still associate CF with bad forming, maybe your reference is not the best.
When it comes to my meals, even though I cannot say that I am following it 100%, the guidance provided by Alex Pauwels has been key in keeping my body strong to perform all my activities and progress. I lost just one kilogram (2.2 lbs) since the holidays, but its quality is significantly improving which is what really matters to me.

Keep on organizing
I have won one of my personal challenges about organization and it is filing. After payment, my bills are now immediately placed in the map and they do not stay on the table for longer than necessary.
Unfortunately, this has been the major victory so far. I am looking forward taking time this week that I am home to find all my new toys a good storage. I have been acquiring a lot of material whether for my NASM practice exam or for myself, by they are still everywhere around the apartment which is an eyesore.
Next month will be much better for sure!
Learn more and more
Next Saturday I will have the written exam for the NASM Personal Trainer certification. For now, their text book is all that I can allow myself to read. I have been investing all my time and energy in it these days so that I can keep on developing myself afterwards.
My kindle app (on iPad) has received some additions lately that I would love to catch up with soon. If you have been following my Wellness Wednesday posts, you probably read about my practicing Reiki. Together with my studies in helping others to get and stay in shape through training and proper intake, I want to help others with their inner aspect as well. As soon as my exams pass, I will be able to take more Reiki customers and like in Personal Training, one can always learn more about it.
My 2015 Commitments – February edition
All in all, I am happy to be able to say that I worked at least a little bit on all my commitments. Could it have been better? Of course! However we are only in the beginning of the year and being able to do book some progress is already much better than nothing.
How is your 2015 so far? Have you been able to keep up with your resolutions?
