No you are not seeing double. I love blueberry smoothie and I cannot lie. That is why I am posting another recipe here. This time I added some banana and the result was delicious.

I wonder if I should add “Blueberry Smoothie Specialist” to my bio. Since they are not typical in Brazil and they are in Europe, I have this tendency of having berries whenever I can. Some weeks ago they had perfect strawberries at the supermarket. I went nuts! Blueberry is an excellent anti-inflammatory food.

Smoothies are my easy healthy recipes for an afternoon snack as I recover from my surgery. The alternatives are endless and you can use whatever ingredients you like or have at home. For this one, I used the final blueberries I had in the fridge. To compensate for the lack of berries, I added a delicious organic banana. The smell… I love it!

Ingredients for my Banana and Blueberry Smoothie.

Banana and Blueberry Smoothie
Serves 1
Just another version of a blueberry smoothie.

Ingredients
  1. 1 bottle Actimel (100ml)
  2. 100ml coconut drink
  3. 1 scoop PurePharma PR3
  4. 1 organic banana
  5. Handful blueberries
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients together in a mixer. Blend them until you get an uniform mix.
  2. Drink it immediately.
Notes
  1. The coconut drink can be substituted by water or milk.
  2. PR3 is a chocolate protein powder.
