No you are not seeing double. I love blueberry smoothie and I cannot lie. That is why I am posting another recipe here. This time I added some banana and the result was delicious.
I wonder if I should add “Blueberry Smoothie Specialist” to my bio. Since they are not typical in Brazil and they are in Europe, I have this tendency of having berries whenever I can. Some weeks ago they had perfect strawberries at the supermarket. I went nuts! Blueberry is an excellent anti-inflammatory food.
Smoothies are my easy healthy recipes for an afternoon snack as I recover from my surgery. The alternatives are endless and you can use whatever ingredients you like or have at home. For this one, I used the final blueberries I had in the fridge. To compensate for the lack of berries, I added a delicious organic banana. The smell… I love it!Ingredients for my Banana and Blueberry Smoothie.
The recipe is no mystery:
- 1 bottle Actimel (100ml)
- 100ml coconut drink
- 1 scoop PurePharma PR3
- 1 organic banana
- Handful blueberries
- Add all ingredients together in a mixer. Blend them until you get an uniform mix.
- Drink it immediately.
- The coconut drink can be substituted by water or milk.
- PR3 is a chocolate protein powder.
I like to add protein power increase the nutritional value of my recipes. Those practicing sports can add glutamine to their mix. It speeds up the recovery process. For bodybuilders creatine also brings extra benefits.*
How frequently do make smoothies? Those with kids, do the little ones like it too?
If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably noticed that I use #PR3 is all my recipes. I use all products from PurePharma and their protein powder is incredible. Because of the CrossFit Regionals, they have a giveaway going on that you do not want to miss. Make chance to win 1 of the 5 PR3 bottles here. Good luck!
